“Inquiring of God” 5/3/2015

When David was told, “Look, the Philistines are fighting against Keilah and are looting the threshing floors,” he inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I go and attack these Philistines?”  The LORD answered him, “Go, attack the Philistines and save Keilah.” (1 Samuel 23:1-2)

Cleanse yourselves (Psalm 51:7,10) (Hebrews 9:14

Repent, then, and turn to God, so that our sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, (Acts 3:19)

We are to listen to God’s authority (Jeremiah 29:12-14) (Matthew 26:41)

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, “This is the way; walk in it.  (Isaiah 30:21)

Follow through with Scripture (Joshua 1:8) (Hebrews 4:12)

All Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.  ( 2 Timothy 3:16)
