A Christmas Story

A CHRISTMAS STORY

THE BIRTH OF A NATION THROUGH THE BIRTH OF A CHILD

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night.  An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.  But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid.” I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.  Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.  This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.  (Luke 2:8-12)

Everyone is invited to meet and receive Jesus (Luke 2:8, Matthew 2, John 3:1)

If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.  Who ever believes in me, as the Scripture has said streams of living water will flow from within him.  (John 7:37-38)

Do not be afraid to believe and receive Jesus (Luke 2:9, 1:29-30, Matthew 26:31)

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence; so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.  (Hebrews 4:16)

Go and seek and share about Him (Luke 2:11-12, 15-18)

For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knock, the door will be opened.  (Matthew 7:8) (Luke 7:22-23
