Listen to Sermon [Mp3, 16 MB]

Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had explored the land, tore their clothes and said to the entire Israelite assemble, “The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good.  If the LORD is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us.  Only do not rebel against the LORD.  And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will swallow them up.  Their protection is gone, but the LORD is with us.  Do not be afraid of them.  (Numbers 14:6-9)

Put your trust in the LORD  (Psalms 118:8-9)

Do not be afraid  (Psalms 121:7-8))
For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.  (Psalms 91:11-12)

Believe in the LORD and cast out all doubt  (Mark 9:21-24)
Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands.  Reach out your hand and put it into my side.  Stop doubting and believe.”  (John 20:27-28) (Mark 16:16)
