Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year

Aloha friends and Church family it’s been a few months without a newsletter we have had a few changes in staff so the newsletter has been in a holding pattern. To catch you all up with what has been going let’s start with Thanksgiving.
Every year we have an outreach to feed the hungry it’s a wonderful way to feed the lost not only fill their stomachs but their hearts as well. It takes cheerful and dedicated volunteers to make this a special time for all. But three days before the event our daughter was rushed by ambulance to the hospital it was one of those times when you feel you have no control. I found her at our house in such pain and her heart racing so fast she could not catch her breath her blood sugar had gone up to 700. The doctor said she could have gone into a diabetic coma if I had not found her when I did. But praise God that did not happen and she was out of the hospital by Saturday afternoon. Being a mother there is nothing worse the seeing your child in pain and I was still feeling drained and stressed when I got to church on Sunday I was not cheerful volunteer I needed to be, but I was blessed my church family pulled together to make this a special day. I had a lot to be thankful for things could have gone a lot worse but God is good so good   Cheyenne was able to come and join us that Sunday. So it was truly a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Merry Christmas. As I reflect on all we shared together this past year I feel truly blessed. There were so many good times that even the sad times, for a small church there was lots of love. You all show it in your actions, and you are always there to support one another. We have captured just a few of these precious moments to share with all of you.

Happy New Year one and all……….
2012 seemed to come and go at a faster pace than normal. For me, it was a wonderful year with all the positive changes God made in my health and life. I’m still in awe.
Wishing everyone a happy and healthy 2013 and may your lives be enriched. People ask why I smile so. I have so many things to be thankful for, that even bad days are good. There is one thing to remember…… It is to keep God in your heart.
Genesis 48:15- God… has fed me all my life long to this day.
