Sermon – Needs Corrective Lenses

Listen to sermon [MP3, 11.5 MB]

Date: October 21, 2012

Speaker: Pastor Dennis Sallas

Notes:

The eye is the lamp of the body.  If your eyes are good your whole body will be full of light.  But if your eyes are bad your whole body will be full of darkness.  If then the light with in you is darkness how great is that darkness.(Matthew 6:22-23)

Fix your eyes on heavenly objects.  (2 Corinthians 4:18)

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.  (Hebrews. 12:2)

Don’t lose sight of the positive.  (Numbers 13:30)

I lift my eyes to the hills where does my help come from?  My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.  (Psalms 121:1-2)

You cannot mix the light with the darkness.  (John 8:12)

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord.  Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) (Ephesians 5:8)

KNOW THAT YOU KNOW THAT YOU KNOW
