“Your servant is in your hands,” Abram said, “do with her whatever you think best.” Then Sarai mistreated Hagar; so she fled from her. The angel of the LORD found Hagar near a spring in the desert; it was the spring that is beside the road to Shur. And he said, “Hagar, servant of Sarai, where have you come from, and where are you going?” “I’m running away from my mistress Sarai,” she answered. Then the angel of the LORD told her, “Go back to your mistress and submit to her.”

Recognize the voice of the Lord. (Genesis 16:8) (John 10:3)

The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it. (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24)

Go back to the beginning where God called you. (Genesis 16:9) (John 1:41-45, Matthew 4:18-20)

Then Jesus said to Simon, “don’t be afraid; from now on you will catch men. (Luke 5:10-11)

Run back to the arms of the LORD. (Genesis 16:9) (Proverbs 3:5-6, 34)

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. (Proverbs 18:10)
