Listen to sermon [MP3, 14.5 MB]

Date: October 2, 2011

Speaker: Pastor Dennis Sallas

He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you?  To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.  (Micah 6:8)

To act Justly:

Be fair.

Do not have two differing weights in your bag – one heavy, one light. (Deuteronomy 25:13-16) (Colossians 4:1)  (Proverbs 21:29)

Try to do what is right.

(Proverbs 21:3)  Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers.  (James 1:16)  (1 Thessalonians 5:15)

You can’t act justly on your own strength.

(Romans 7:24-25) (Psalm 125:1-2)

I can do everything through him who give me strength.  (NIV)

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (NKJV)

For I can do everything with the help of Christ who gives me the strength I need. (NLT)

(Philippians 4:13)
