Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, Rabbi, we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him. (John 3:1-2)

Humble (Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. (Matt. 11:29)

Humble your heart. (Duet. 8:2)

“I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heave. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. (Matt. 18:2-3)

Be completely humble. Be completely humble and gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in love. (Eph. 4:2-3)

Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble? In all this, Job did not sin in what he said. (Job 2:10)

Humble yourselves before the Lord. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. (James 4:10)

Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life. (1 Tim. 1:15-16)
